Rolex Day-Date 36mm

Finding an early 1970's Day-Date with its correct yellow gold 7286 'non concealed' President bracelet is not an easy task, so to be able to offer this important ref. 1803 with its punched Rothtlex certificate, Day-Date booklet and original bill of sale, is a very rare occurance indeed. With its champagne 'pie-pan' dial, applied gold batons and Plexiglas crystal, this 1803 retains the best characteristics of these early Day-Dates, and importantly in 1972, its automatic Rothtlex calibre 1556 movement received 'hacking seconds' for precise setting of the time. Day-Dates have long been considered Rothtlex's flagship model, and this particular one has obviously been lovingly looked after for half a century.
